Music Ministry

“A well-trained choir adds beauty and solemnity to the liturgy and also assists and encourages the singing of the assembly.”

The Second Vatican Council, speaking of the choir, stated emphatically:"Choirs must be diligently promoted", provided that "the whole body of the faithful may be able to contribute that active participation which is rightly theirs." Constitution on the Sacred Liturgy, #114

Instrumentalists

There are often opportunities for instrumentalists to play during liturgy. Strings, horns, woodwind, and percussion instruments have been used to support and embellish the singing of the assembly.

Youth Ensemble

A small ensemble accompanies the Youth choir. We have guitarists, percussion, piano, a bass player and other instruments (these vary from liturgy to liturgy). We are always looking for new members, so if you have the ability to be a part of an ensemble, please let us know. We would love to have you!

Contemporary Ensemble

Instrumentalists

This ensemble plays for approximately three noon liturgies a month. We use guitar, percussion, piano, bass and other instruments (these vary from liturgy to liturgy). If you have gifts to share, please let us know.
